“When I first spoke to Andrea and asked her about the moment she saw progress with her son, she immediately told the story of her son coming home from school, and for the first time in years, simply said: Hi Mom. I knew that was the moment and the feeling I wanted to capture in this project. I always try my best to honor the trust I am given to tell a persons story by respecting authenticity.
