Double Gold // Addys 23

We won two Gold and a Silver at Addys 23 (the American Advertising Awards) this past week. We were thrilled to see a film for Best Point and motion work we did with our good friends at Curiosity for Altafiber get recognized as Addy Gold winners, and it was gratifying to win an award for original music for a second year in row. For a Direction & Design studio, it was dope to win Gold for a project in each discipline.

When we called our Dads to share the news, they asked when we were going to get a real job and seemed confused on what exactly we won awards for, but they told us they were proud of us anyway.

You always hear award winners say, “we don’t make work to win awards, we just make the best work we can for our clients.” — And yeah, this is true. But that sweet validation also feels good. At the very least, it’s an excuse to celebrate all of the hard work we put in last year, and how much progress we continue make year to year.

This is just the beginning.
