“Falling in love with cinema has changed my life. It’s changed the way I view myself as a person. It’s influenced my outlook on the world. And that love has fundamentally changed the way I approach my craft. Every detail matters. Curating an experience, crafting an emotion, delivering a story, no matter if it is for film, art, or advertising, takes an attention to detail and love for the craft. The audience can feel authenticity.”

Cody is a multi-award winning Cincinnati-based Director, and has had a home on the Storyocity roster since 2020. Cody had no clue he wanted to be a filmmaker until he dropped out of art school without a plan. Starting his way from the bottom of the production ladder, he quickly earned the status of “director” - fast-tracking his lifelong goal of becoming one of the industry's most distinct voices. A real cinephile by nature, Cody uses his love of films and film history to inspire a more narrative/scripted approach to his work.

Outside of his directorial career, Cody is an enthusiast of watches and wine, a novice tennis player, an avid watcher of the UFC, and the loving stepfather of two cats (Rosie and Mr. Pickles).
